A vote has opened to repeal the Treaty of Friendship, an agreement between the regions of Langston and The Great Storm. Read the treaty here:
Treaty of Friendship
Preamble
Langston and The Great Storm, wanting to further build firm diplomatic relationships, hereby recognize and establish this treaty as the Treaty of Friendship.
Article 1: Mutual Recognition
1. The parties of this treaty shall recognize the Republic of Langston and The Great Storm as two independent, sovereign regions.
2. This treaty will create a friendship between the two regions, recognizing them as allies.
Article 2: Gameplay
1. If one region is raided by an outside organized military, the other region is obligated to work to defend and liberate the invaded region.
2. If the defense forces of Langston are on a mission, they are encouraged to invite their The Great Storm counterparts to join them.
Article 3: Embassy
1. This treaty is to create a formal NationStates embassy between the two regions.
2. Citizens of The Great Storm should be able to post on the Langston regional message board and vice versa.
3. The embassy signifies the peace to be maintained between the respective regions.
Hereby establishes the Treaty of Friendship as an official agreement between Langston and The Great Storm.
The vote will be open for 24 hours, or until all Legislators vote.
Aye: repeal
Nay: don't repeal
Abstain: not voting, but voting in the records
